Lead Clips Clay, CLAY
Since its release, the Hybrid Lead Clip has established itself as the best clip on the market. It has one very simple purpose, and that’s to help you ditch the lead if the fish you hook becomes snagged. The design features an integrally moulded Ring Swivel, ensuring that the swivel simply cannot pull free from its housing. This forces lead ejection in the event of it becoming jammed meaning that carp can be landed easily in weedy, snaggy conditions. The streamlined, one-piece design means there are no fiddly locking pegs or hinges to worry about – just connect the leader to one end and the rig to the other! The uprated arm allows leads up to 5oz to be cast safely even at extreme range and the clip is available in all four of the key Safe Zone colours: weedy green, clay, gravel and silt.

Korda Stik Hooklink KlipsKORDA STIK KLIP Quick and simple rig changes make things so much easier it is for this reason that we at Korda now use a link on all of our set ups whether we are using a stik or not. First came the Kwik Link which can be used for any form of attachment be it a lead or a rig. The only problem we had was that when using them for rig attachment they could be a little tricky in the cold weather so an easier option was needed. Along came this little beauty! The Stik Klip; a simple to use non-reflective hooklink clip crucial for speedy changes yet strong enough for sharks (well massive carp anyway!) The medium Stik Klip is fine for all British and continental carping. However it was recognised that we required something a little more intricate and subtle in our range for cuter carp and other specialist fishing as a result we have released the small Stik Klip. As far as strength is concerned you should never be able to break these in an angling situation as there breaking strain is well over 30lbs. Being so small they are already a massive hit with all carp and specialist anglers. As with the other Stik Klips you still need to use a small sleeve of silicone to ensure the loop cannot slip onto one part of the clip.Style code: KSCM

Commercial master Steve Ringer engineered a groundbreaking hook bait platform, which sits on the opposite side of the feeder to the main weight loading, ensuring that the hook bait sits on top of the feeder cast after cast. Kamo Sinking Rig Tube Gravel, TUBE
Not only does rig tubing stop the hook link from wrapping around the main line on the cast preventing a tangle, it also stops the fish coming in contact with the line during the fight. This is a vital safety aspect of the rig which we feel should not be ignored. Danny has actually seen a carp roll on the line as it was being played and watched as scales fluttered down to the lake bed. When the carp was landed it had several white marks where the scales used to be. This was from a method feeder where no tubing was required because the hook link was squashed inside the method ball so it couldn’t tangle. But, for the sake of having some tubing on, which if you use it right doesn’t have to spook the carp, you will ensure the fish stay as perfect as the moment they made the mistake of wanting your hook bait! Our tubing has a matt finish, which makes it harder to see underwater and most importantly, easy to thread. It comes in three colours, all of which sink without the need for putty. Having said that, we have seen from the underwater footage that the better the rig is pinned to the lake bed the less scared the carp will be. It is also better to get the colour of the tube exactly right for the spot you are fishing and then weight it with extra putty. Our underwater experience tells us our colours are right and extra putty can only enhance the whole set up but is not as essential as getting the colour right.
